A “Big” Thank You!
Thanks to everyone who was involved with Mo-Ranch weekend. Thanks to Dr. Kim Long and Michael Morgan for their leadership in the weekend. And to all those volunteers who gave workshops: Julie Evans with the children’s music, Alex Camfield and the dream boards, cupcakes with Emma and Audrey, greeting cards with Judith Hiott, jewelry making with Sara Metsa, Meg Scott Johnson and the Labyrinth, Mary Sinderson and crocheting, and Jayne Amann in the photo lab. And who could forget the opportunity of seeing all those Bibles, original English Translations that Michael Morgan shared with us. Many memories will flood our senses as we recall the Pensacola Children Chorus presentation under the direction of Alan and Susan Pote. The music was wonderful from the hymn sings to the sung blessings in the dining room (thanks to Alice). The children’s music on Friday evening was a blessing for all and the presentation with Bernie with the added choreography was a joy to behold. All of this brought us to a wonderful Pentecost Service on the Hill where we participated in a beautiful baptismal service of the Murphy Family. What a Pentecost!
Many thanks to the planning committee for all their hard work this year: Jeanie Flowers, Susan Estill, Kristy Vits, Paul Pennington, Tom Lewis and Joyce Fox. And thanks to the Mo-Ranch Team Staff that pulled us all together.
(Ed. Note: A big thank you to Mike Alexander for his leadership and hard work.)
