St Philip Presbyterian Church, a city wide fellowship with a diversity of views and commitments, united by our belief in Jesus Christ, seeks a Director of Ministries for Children, Youth, and Their Families, either lay or ordained, to inspire and shepherd our children and challenge our youth and their families. The ideal candidate should possess a desire to coordinate and implement a ministry to grow the faith and fellowship of children and youth, who can demonstrate special strengths and interests in youth ministry. An understanding that youth ministry is a fundamental building block in the spiritual development of life that continues to grow through the teenage years is essential. Our candidate should possess a deep faith, good judgment, enthusiasm, a willingness to work with committees, ministry teams, and volunteers, as well as the ability to organize a youth program and effectively communicate to the congregation. Come build relationships to help our young people grow in wisdom, stature, and divine and human favor (Luke 2:52).
