Dear St. Philip Family,

The Session has approved a special offering for Haiti relief, to be received last Sunday and this coming Sunday, Jan. 24th. Our donations will be distributed through Presbyterian Disaster Assistance (PDA), a mission arm of the Presbyterian Church (USA). Funds from PDA began flowing to relieve the need in Haiti right after the earthquake was reported this past week, but the need will be ongoing for some time. In the first Sunday’s offering, we have already received over $3,000.

If you plan to make your contribution by check, make the check out to St. Philip, and put “Haiti Relief” on the memo line. If you want to know more about the Presbyterian Church’s response to the disaster, go to www.pcusa.org/pda for information.
