Worship is central to the life of St. Philip Presbyterian Church. You will experience this the moment you walk into the sanctuary. Its high ceilings draw you towards the front of this worship space, forward to the cross that spans from floor to ceiling over a beautiful mosaic of tiles.
Our liturgy is in the Reformed tradition: we prepare to hear God's Word through confession, forgiveness, and fellowship, we hear God's Word through Scripture and sermon, and we respond to God's Word through offering and prayer. We share in the Sacrament of Communion on the first Sunday of every month, and we rejoice with each baptism as the opportunity arises.
While we follow this structure, worship at St. Philip is a mix of the formal and the informal. We are inclusive of children, and we invite all children, especially those of kindergarten age and older, to stay for the entire service. We have activity bags available and a "Time with Children" integrated into the service.
