The Central Mission Endowment Fund

The mission outreach of St. Philip is extended through our Central Mission Endowment Fund (CMEF). The Fund was established following the 2010 merger of St. Philip and Central Presbyterian Church. Grants are made annually from the Fund that meet our mission priorities.

The CMEF has particular care for the marginalized or vulnerable and those suffering from economic and social inequality or injustice. Accordingly, the council favors programs that address one or more of the following: education, hunger, poverty, children and youth, and the elderly. The Houston area is the major focus of the Fund, but regional, national and international programs and projects can be considered.
