MASP presents Emily Amos, organist - Sanctuary

Hailed as one of the 2025 “Rising Stars” of the American Guild of Organists (AGO), award-winning organist Emily Dawn Amos has been an active performer for the better part of two decades. An active concert artist, Emily has performed in the United Kingdom and France as well as on notable instruments in important venues across the United States. While currently serving as organ scholar at St. Paul’s United Methodist in Houston, Emily recently received her master’s degree from the Shepherd School of Music at Rice, studying with Ken Cowan, and will be moving to England in the fall to take up the position of organ scholar at Guildford Cathedral. Her program will include music by J. S. Bach, David Briggs, and Rachel Laurin, among others.
